Royall and Susan Tyler live on a property of 100 acres beyond Mongarlowe, near Braidwood, at the western foot of Mt. Currockbilly. We bought our first alpacas at the end of 1993 and brought them to our property in 1996. Pre-alpacas, Royall taught Japanese literature, and he is particularly known as the translator of The Tale of Genji and The Tale of the Heike.
